  • Modern medicine has only managed to maintain life expectancy in the setting of rising rates of chronic disease (cancer, heart disease, metabolic disease).

    "Preventive Care” today does not prevent anything, it detects and reacts to manage disease. There are no prescriptions to stay healthy.  This is not the fault of primary care, but rather the constraints imposed by the current health insurance model which results in patients often being overmedicated, disempowered, and chronically ill.

    More seniors are aging at home. We should all plan (and want to be) self-reliant into our 80s and 90s.

  • True preventive care should have a 40+ year planning horizon.

    Your health needs are currently managed by siloed industries: traditional health care, diet and nutrition, pharmaceuticals, supplements, fitness and exercise, mental well-being, etc.

    We are medication minimalists, but very much NOT anti-medication. In many cases appropriate use of prescription medication is often necessary to prevent consequences of genetic predisposition to disease or minimize progression of disease (e.g.  coronary artery disease).
